This qualification forms part of an industry recognised apprenticeship standard for electrical

apprentices and has been developed for the trailblazer apprenticeship initiative. It covers the skills

and knowledge needed by an electrician (installation or maintenance). To demonstrate occupational

competence the learner must also complete the AM2.

The assessment of the qualification’s units involves the following aspects:


ELEC3/04 and 3/04

3/03 Understanding How to Plan and Oversee Electrical Activates.

3/04 Understanding Design and Installation Practices and Procedures.
